Download and Install Program
Run the install - you can change the drive where is installed, but please leave the  install location as is.

Start  Program
Start program - a small window 'Login' will appear  [do not confuse with Logins]. This floating window should be left open all the time, it has an interface with the rest of the program.

Note that this program is a cut down version of a much more complex utility. There are lots of extra things you will see that should be ignored. Please do not experiment with areas that are not documented - it may fail.

Initial Setup

1. Browse->Update Settings

In the line Directory for CSV enter the path where your download get stored eg. C:\Downloads  e.g.  C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Downloads
If you do not know, download a file and see where it goes. (If you are using FireFox - go to Tools->Options and copy the Save Files to path.)

Do not change anything else - click OK

2. Click Browse Logins (earlier versions say Logins- do not use Login/Active Login) in the top menu bar - click Change (if you get a warning message about license expiry -  ignore it) -

this is a DUMMY entry for you to fill in your IMVU user name - type your IMVU name on top of DUMMY and press TAB

Your IMVU user number wil be looked up and displayed in the lower box

IMPORTANT - ensure your user name and IMVU user number are correct - you will not be able to change them, then click OK, then click Close

3. Enter activation code

You will have been provided an activation code that enables parts the program and limits access to stuff that will be information overload for most users.

From the very top menu line click Help->Register 3

Under company enter your IMUV user number without commas

Choose the level as directed when the activation code was sent to you - Standard or Professional

Copy and paste the activation code (looks like HYUE-KIRT-MURF-DEYR)

Click OK
