IMVU's Tiers system assigns different levels to developers based on a point system

The System has seven levels, each giving the developer increased submission discounts and credit transfer limits.

Once a month IMVU recalculates the levels based on points assigned over the previous three months. The points in each category are compared to all other deverlopers for that perios, so that each month the number of points could vary and the level could changes,  even if the developer had the same amoutn of participation.

10% of Content Creators are Tier 1
3% of Content Creators are Tier 2
1% of Content Creators are Tier 3
0.78% of Content Creators are Tier 4
0.53% of Content Creators are Tier 5
0.38% of Content Creators are Tier 6
0.03% of Content Creators are Tier 7

Tier points are given in two groups, Core and Unique.

Core Metrics - maximum value 12 points

Each area can be worth up to 3 points

Sales (direct) The number of product sales
Sales (derived) The number of sales of products other developers have derived from your  product
Income (credits) The number of real credits you have received
Income (promo credits) The number of promos (not  developer tokens) that you received

Unique Metrics - maximum value 9 points

Each item is worth up to 3 points,  but only the top 3 are used in final calculations

Average product rating: Average of your product review scores (Jalapenos)
CC Forum posts: Number of posts you made in the content creator sections of the IMVU forums
Peer Review activity: How many 'accurate' peer reviews you did.
Products in the catalog: Total count of products in the catalog.
Products recently submitted: New products added to the catalog in the previous 2 months
